Schools & Education
During term time, we are offering educational visits to our Park for only £40 per group (up to 60 pupils.)
The farm has been built in the last three years and we offer a wide range of facilities. Our team who work in our educational department are qualified and enthusiastic, to provide you with a fun learning experience, tailored to you requirements.
We are also working alongside Farming and Countryside Education (FACE) which is a registered Charity that has similar ambitions to ourselves.
'Our aim is to educate children and young people about food and farming in a sustainable countryside'
Subjects covered
We cover many areas of the curriculum in all Key Stages, including aspects of geography, science, technology, citizenship and history. We plan each visit after consultation in a pre-visit meeting with the teacher and depending on the objective of the visit, issues such as organic farming, farm technology, business diversification, land use, animal husbandry and welfare, and food production, can be incorporated into the visit.
