Park Receives ‘Good to Go’ Accreditation03 Jul 2020
As UK lockdown restrictions are eased and businesses are beginning to re-open, Puxton Park wanted to ensure the safety of their customers by pursuing the new nationwide tourism industry standard and consumer mark from Visit Britain.
The new standard and supporting mark called the “Good to Go’ tick is only awarded to businesses who are able to demonstrate that they are strictly adhering to the respective government and public health guidance, have carried out all relevant COVID-19 risk assessments and have all necessary infrastructure in place to provide a safe environment for their customers.
Puxton Park surpassed all requirements of this accreditation thanks to a number of safety measures that have been put in place, including enhanced cleaning routines, protective screens, a one-way system throughout the site, numerous hand sanitiser stations and social distancing boundaries and reminders. We are also assisting with the NHS Track and Trace service.
We have also introduced a new requirement that all admission tickets must be pre-booked online with an allocated arrival time slot. This procedure prevents crowding and reduces the length of queues, therefore providing a safer experience for both staff and customers.
