Busy Buddies Nursery Opening April 2020
IN April 2020, Busy
Buddies Nursery will be opening at Puxton Park, a family adventure park just
off the A370 in Hewish, North Somerset. The nursery and forest school are set
within the stunning scenery and vast grounds of Puxton Park where children will
not only be provided with the finest nursery care, but they will also be
immersed in a unique child-centered environment allowing them to play, learn
and grow.
The nursery’s
onsite Forest School, offers children and their families the experiences of
learning in an environment that has been proven to be beneficial to children,
by allowing them the time and space to develop their interests, skills, and
understanding through practical, hands-on experiences in collaboration with the
Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
Busy Buddies
Nursery is owned and managed by Justine and Chris Bristow, who both have a
portfolio of extended Early Years training including: Special Educational
Needs, Makaton, Portage and Safeguarding. Together, they will provide a home-away-from-home,
fun, safe, caring and educational environment for children 3 months to 5 years
of age.
Justine Bristow,
OFSTED registered childminder who’s setting was graded as an Outstanding early
years provision in November 2019, says "We believe that by creating
inclusive environments indoors and outdoors that are full of learning
opportunity, accompanied with the space to be creative, explore, have fun
and make friends, enables children to feel safe, secure and happy allowing them
to excel in their personal development and make memories that can last a
lifetime."
"The children
will be supported and guided on their journey by a team of dedicated staff with
experience, qualifications and a shared passion for caring and educating
children, whilst committing themselves and the setting to continuous learning
and professional development."
Alistair Mead,
Managing Director of Puxton Park, says: “Here at Puxton Park, we’ve always had
a deep-rooted passion for supporting educational facilities that will benefit
the local community. We feel that under the care of Chris and Justine, children
at Busy Buddies Nursery will not only benefit from their years of childcare
experience, but also benefit from the creative environment that will encourage
them to grow-up with a love for the great outdoors."
