Butterfly Weekend at Puxton Park – 20th & 21st June
Join us for a magical weekend celebrating butterflies, nature, and conservation on Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st June! Wander through the park surrounded by bubbles, beautiful blooms, and fluttering wings as we bring the wonder of butterflies to life.
At 1:00pm each day, gather for our spectacular Butterfly Release, accompanied by music. Before the release, enjoy a fascinating mini talk all about the butterfly life cycle and how we can help protect these incredible creatures here in the UK.
Children can follow our Butterfly Flower Trail around the park, discovering colourful plants that attract butterflies while collecting fun facts along the way. Little ones can also make a special “Butterfly Wish” before releasing a butterfly in support of wildlife conservation charities.
Keep an eye out for our friendly animal team, who’ll be roaming the park with adorable baby animals for gentle cuddles and meet-and-greets throughout the day.
There’ll also be plenty of garden party treats to enjoy from the Snack Shack, including butterfly-themed cakes and refreshments, plus fun themed goodies available to purchase — from butterfly wings and toys to bubbles and bubble wands!
With bubble machines filling the air and a magical atmosphere throughout the park, Butterfly Weekend promises to be a truly unforgettable family day out.
