Puxton Park Wins National Award

Puxton Park has won the National Farm Attraction of the Year Award. The National Farm Attraction Network (NFAN) presents this prestigious award to only one attraction in the United Kingdom every year.

Farm and rural attractions from around the UK gathered at the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh, Scotland on Wednesday, the 30th January for the Annual National Farm Attractions Network (NFAN) Conference and Awards Ceremony. This event celebrates the best in farm parks and countryside attractions throughout the UK.

With over 250 farm park owners and managers in attendance, this event unites a group of individuals who strive to offer their visitors an unforgettable experience. Members of the NFAN network were able to submit applications for eight award categories; including Best Food & Drink, Best in Education, Best Digital Presence and many more. After winning the “Day Maker of the Year Award” in 2018, Puxton Park was honoured to have won the esteemed “Farm Attraction of the Year Award” at this year’s ceremony.

Managing Director of Puxton Park, Alistair Mead, says, “We cannot put into words how ecstatic and grateful we feel to have won this award. When my late father and I built Puxton Park 12 years ago, we dreamed of creating a place where families could make life long memories. Some of my greatest memories growing up were out on the farm and this is where my Dad taught me some of life’s most valuable lessons. I couldn’t think of anything better than giving local families the opportunity to share in these experiences and create their own memories.”

“I would also like to say a big thank you to all of the staff here at Puxton Park. Their hard work, dedication and compassion is what holds this place together and I am so grateful to have such a wonderful team of individuals who share my passion for providing an amazing day out for all of our visitors.”
